MODULE
TRAINING Merit has developed modules in many subjects.
These modules have been researched, written, tested, and refined in
many different enterprise environments. They are designed to
"self-customize" so they quickly adapt to our specific situation.
You are assured of getting training tools that can assist you to
address your organizational issues. Each module is individually
bound. They are also 3-hole punched for insertion into a binder.

SOUND INSTRUCTIONAL
METHODOLOGY Developed by experts in instructional design,
these training materials combine interactive training techniques
with sound methodology. The design is built on the principles that
adults learn best when training:
- Involves the participants.
- Can be immediately applied to the
work environment.
- Includes "learning by doing."
- Is interactive, fun, and
motivational.
- Uses a three-phased approach
including pre and post-workshop assignments.
- Includes flip charts, leader's notes
and planning tools, role plays, exercises, and discussions.
SELF-PACED OR CLASSROOM
LEARNING Merit modules make it easy to offer a wide variety
of skill-based training to employees. Whether in a self-paced or
classroom setting, Merit modules provide practical on-the-job skills
to participants. The format makes certain the training is
interactive, flexible and tailored to everyone's workplace
situation.
LEADER'S GUIDES Leader's
Guides come complete with a separate section on setting up the
training, workshop design, tips for teaching, checklists, rosters,
and other tools.
Introductory Leader's Notes highlight
key points, provide tips for training, and detail competencies to be
gained.
Margin Notes guide the trainer through
the material and indicate when to ask questions to encourage
discussion, use flip charts, break into groups, and refer to
specific material.
A Timed Agenda allows the trainer to
plan the session and expand and contract the material as
needed.

BUILDING YOUR LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
